Next, fill in all the necessary information about your business.  Spice up your profile by adding some extra information, such as your location, email address, and other contact information. The next step is to upload a profile picture, as this helps to improve the image of your brand while enabling users and potential customers to take your business seriously. Next, customize sections if necessary and lastly, start posting catchy contents.

B.     Utilizing Facebook marketing tools

This is probably an unpopular, yet essential new feature on Facebook. Thankfully, Facebook marketing tools are easy to find on individual and business pages. Examples of these are

 a.     The pinning icon, which is found just above the news feed. Pinning of posts helps to draw the attention of your target audience to your published post.

 b.     The call to action buttons which are  also very visible on the page enables your target audience to get in touch easily. Examples are contact us, book now, etc.

 c.      The boost button also helps to draw the attention of the audience you are targeting.

 d.     Creating and using Facebook Ads helps to increase engagement on your page. Engagement here refers to likes and comments.

C.     Hosting promotional offers: unfortunately, most brand owners are not aware of the importance of hosting contests on Facebook. Studies reveal that hosting of Facebook contests tends to increase the visibility of a brand even faster. Your posts don’t always have to be about marketing. Reward your audience often with give-aways so that they feel happy to recommend you to the people they know.

D.     Get accustomed to posting regularly: your audience wants to know how serious you are with business, and the only way they can determine that is by the level of your consistency. So, try to post contents regularly in order to stay in front of your audience.

F.     Using hash tags: sometimes, I get baffled by the way and manner in which people utilize hash tags, as though it were just for fun. However, the main reason and purpose behind the creation of hash tags is to allow people to find you easily. This is particularly done through the use of keywords. Thus, when people search for keywords, which could be general or specific, your brand appears on their screen, since whatever they are searching for is related to your brand. Brand owners are therefore encouraged to utilize hash tags in every post they make.
